Replace Guilt with Gratitude

Gratitude is an excellent replacement for the guilt we often feel.

When you feel bad about asking for help, focus on how grateful you are that there are people out there who love you and who are willing to help!

When you feel bad about the past, replace the guilt with gratitude for the lessons you’ve learned and the growth you have experienced.

When you feel guilty for being late or saying the wrong thing, rather than apologizing, express your gratitude to the other person for their patience and understanding!
